Ana Paula Appel

Senior AI Engineer and Distinguished Quantum Ambassador at IBM, where she is the head of the global Data Science council. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from ICMC-USP with a research stay at Carnegie Mellon University, focused on complex network mining. With over 40 published articles and more than 1100 citations, she is the first woman certified in Data Science L3 in Latin America. She received the Prism Award from the Society of Women Engineers in 2024 and was included in the 'Women Engineers That You Should Know' list in 2022. Master Inventor (IBM) from 2016 to 2019, with 36 patents granted and over 58 registered with the USPTO.

Bruna Shinohara de Mendonça

Staff Scientist - Quantum Technologies at CMC Microsystems, Canada, working with quantum algorithms and training in quantum technologies. PhD in Physics (USP), with a focus on Condensed Matter Theory and Quantum Computing. Science communicator with content in Portuguese and English on Physics and Quantum Technologies, with articles published on the official Qiskit Medium, podcasts, and popular science magazines. Has taught Quantum Computing courses for universities and organizations. Awarded by the University of São Paulo, Quantum Innovation Summit, and UnitaryHack.

Carlos H. G. Bessa

Researcher and professor at the British startup Zaiku Group Ltd. Postdoctoral fellowships at Tufts University, Federal University of Paraíba, Brazilian Center for Research in Physics, and University of São Paulo. PhD in Physics from the Federal University of Paraíba, Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Physics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. He has various interests in physics, mathematics, and currently in quantum computing, particularly in quantum hardware for computing, as well as optimization algorithms and quantum machine learning.

Elon Martins de Sá

Postdoctoral researcher at the Military Engineering Institute (IME) in free-space quantum communication and quantum computing. Technologist in geographic and statistical information at the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
Graduated in Physics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in 1994, where he completed a master’s degree in Theory of Relativity in 1997, and a PhD in Statistical Physics in 2001. He has extensive experience in teaching Physics at the higher education level for 19 years at the Souza Marques Technical-Educational Foundation.

Erico Teixeira

Head of Quantum Technologies at CESAR, where he leads research groups: Quantum Application in Technology and Software (|QATS>) and Privacy and Data Protection at the Cybersecurity Center (CISSA). He holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), with an internship at Texas Tech University. He also has a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (UFPE). His interests in quantum computing include combinatorial optimization, machine learning, computational simulation, and post-quantum cryptography.

Everton Tadeu

Professor at CESAR School and currently the Course Coordinator in the Technology area, he is a member of the research group Quantum Application in Technology and Software (|QATS>) in the field of Quantum Computing Education. With a degree in Mathematics and a Master's in Mathematical and Technological Education, he has been dedicated to studying the training of individuals for Quantum Computing.

Felipe Fanchini

Professor and researcher at São Paulo State University (Unesp), one of the coordinators of the FAPESP program in quantum technologies, with research focused on open quantum systems, quantum information protection strategies, and machine learning applied to solving physical problems. His research focus has been on quantum machine learning and optimization, highlighting the confluence of his areas of expertise. Co-founder of QuaTI, a Brazilian company specializing in quantum computing and information, with an emphasis on technological innovation.

Felipe Mahlow

PhD candidate in Computer Science at São Paulo State University (Unesp), under the supervision of Prof. Felipe Fanchini, with a research exchange period at the University of Rochester, New York, USA. He also served as a visiting researcher at the University of Chile and Bahcesehir University in Turkey. He holds a degree in Physics Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Physics, both from Unesp. His research interests include Classical and Quantum Machine Learning, with a focus on their applications to Quantum Information Science, as well as Generative Artificial Intelligence.

Inaê Soares de Figueiredo

Master’s student and Bachelor in Computer Science from São Paulo State University (UNESP). A member of the Advanced Networks and Security Laboratory (LARS), she is currently dedicated to research exploring the intersection of cybersecurity, quantum computing, and machine learning.

Jogi Suda Neto

Jogi is co-founder of QuaTI and works in research, teaching, and consulting in the field of quantum computing. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Computer Science from São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP).
Throughout his research journey, he has delved into quantum machine learning and signal processing for the diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases through speech.
Currently, his focus in quantum machine learning is directed towards high-energy physics.

José Victor Soares Scursulim

Master's and Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Federal University of Espírito Santo, with an emphasis on quantum computing and quantum error correction theory. IBM Associate Certified Qiskit Developer and IBM Qiskit Advocate since 2021. Researcher in the fields of special relativity, quantum mechanics, and quantum computing. Currently works as a quantum computing analyst at the Itaú Unibanco Institute of Science and Technology, applying his knowledge in classical and quantum computing to solve problems related to the financial market.

Jullyano Lino

Computer Scientist (UFPI) with a postgraduate degree in Quantum Computing, published on quantum sensing (RADAR and LIDAR) applied to national defense (ITA, 2023). Delivered talks on security in the quantum era (MindTheSec, 2023) and offensive cybersecurity, focusing on cryptography and quantum vulnerability analysis. Works as an information security analyst, holding CISSP and C|TIA professional certifications. Participates in quantum computing hackathons (IBM, QWorld) and CTF challenges while pursuing a degree in Mathematics.

Leticia Bertuzzi

Marcos Cesar de Oliveira

Full Professor at the Gleb Wataghin Institute of Physics at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Specialist in optics, information, and quantum computing. Researches quantum error correction, communication, thermodynamics, and biology, as well as quantum states in light and matter systems. With more than 80 articles published in high-impact international journals, he has made significant contributions to the development of talent in this field. As a science communicator, he is committed to enhancing public understanding of the technological revolutions made possible by quantum sciences.

Mauro C. Andreassa

Physicist from PUC-SP, he is the Secretary of the Quantum Technologies Committee at ABNT, a member of I2AI (International Association of Artificial Intelligence) and AAAI (Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence). He holds an MBA with an emphasis on Administration and Marketing and has been teaching for 25 years in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Miguel Lisboa

Pamela Bezerra

Ph.D. from Imperial College London (ICL) in the United Kingdom, currently a professor and researcher at CESAR School, the educational branch of the Center for Advanced Studies and Systems of Recife. Holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from UFPE, where she also completed her Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. Ricardo Conde

Samuraí Brito

Leader of Quantum Technologies and a member of the technical-scientific committee at the Itaú-Unibanco Institute of Science, Technology, and Innovation, where she leads a Data Science and Applied Analytics team. She holds a postdoctoral degree in Quantum Information from the International Institute of Physics and a Ph.D. in Physics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. She is one of the most influential experts in quantum technologies in Brazil, with over 20 scientific articles published in some of the world's most impactful scientific journals.

Victor Leme Beltran

Quantum Machine Learning Engineer at Itaú Unibanco, working on solving complex problems in the financial and banking sector. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, with experience in fraud detection systems, data science, machine learning, quantum computing, and software engineering, being responsible for the implementation of real-time fraud detection systems for transactional use. Also develops automation applications using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and web solutions using Computer Vision.
